When We Remember

We have often noticed that families are sometimes unsure of the content of the actual funeral service. Although all good ministers and funeral celebrants will try very hard to make each funeral that they conduct as individual and special as possible, it is usually much better for families to make decisions regarding favorite readings, poetry and music for themselves.

We are aware that most modern homes do not have an extensive library of poetry, readings and music suitable for funerals.

Thankfully, our good friend Melissa Abraham, has written a very helpful book on exactly this subject.

"When We Remember" full of wonderful poems, readings and music for funerals. Almost every favourite poem and reading, that you remember is here and, to help with music choice, there is a CD included with the book that actually allows you to listen to the music suggestions.

As an added kindness, Melissa has included a number of pages at the front of the book, which are simply lined and can be used for written condolences, thus creating a lovely keepsake.
