Miles & Daughters - Our Premises

In order to provide the best possible service for our clients, we have established three separate funeral homes, based in Winnersh(Wokingham), Twyford and Crowthorne.

Isabella House is the name of our prestigious main office premises, conveniently situated on the Reading Road in Winnersh. The building, named after one of the Daughters, was originally built circa 1910 and has been thoughtfully and sympathetically re-designed and decorated to offer comfort, privacy and a warm relaxed atmosphere with every facility, comfortable and discreet arrangement rooms, dedicated chapel complete with private area for reflection, coffin showrooms, easy and dignified access for disabled clients and ample private client parking.  Our vehicle fleet also lives here in our extensive garage facility.

Our second premises, known as the 'Old Clock House' is to be found next to St. Mary's church in Twyford. This beautiful Victorian building has been restored to provide the same high standards as those found at Isabella House.  Our Twyford office also benefits from a large memorial showroom area.  There is client parking to the rear of our Twyford premises.

 

 

Our third office, ‘Alicya House’ is located in the middle of Crowthorne High Street, directly opposite the Lidl superstore.  This office has been completely refurbished in the same comforting colour scheme as our Twyford office but, being a newer building, has been decorated and furnished in a 1930’s Art Deco style.  Crowthorne office has client parking to the rear and also benefits from a memorial showroom facility.

Each of our premises include private offices for families to make funeral arrangements, together with purpose built and fully equipped areas to ensure your loved one is cared for with respect and dignity.

Our Dedicated Chapels of Rest are available at all times for your convenience to provide peaceful surroundings to say a final goodbye. Both Winnersh and Crowthorne have large chapels and Twyford has a smaller, more intimate chapel.  We provide an environment where you and your family can spend time together peacefully and privately. Often, the bereaved find comfort in placing a memento of personal significance with the deceased such as a letter, photograph, or a flower from the garden. We will gladly do this for you if you prefer not to visit the chapel personally.

If required we can usually arrange free transport to our premises for you to make arrangements and visit the chapels. Alternatively we are happy to visit you at your home at no extra cost, to make the arrangements at a time convenient to you.
