Irene Turner has supported us through two funerals recently. She has been amazing, helping us to process the deaths, come to terms with them and to celebrate our family members appropiately. She has organised the necessary parts of the process; collection and storage as well as booking the crematorium, arranging coffins, limousines, amazing flowers from Longacres, creating a slide show that timed with our music choice and designing orders of service that we were proud to share. She was caring and encouraged us to make our two funerals, that occured weeks apart, different including suggesting a different hearse; Morag, a vintage hearse.
Her funeral team on the day were excellent. We met both Funeral Directors who were lovely and kind. One suggested I take the flowers and share them with my guests. This meant our friends each left the wake with a posey of roses and orchids.

We used Miles and Daughters when my mum passed away and from that first day meeting with Cat and til the funeral day meeting Lisa they have both been nothing but caring making sure that we as a family were OK and making the visit welcoming and warm and giving us all the time we needed.ON the day of the funeral we could not fault anyone they have done us proud and looked after us very well.Lisa done an excellent job on the day making it go smoothly and lovely.

We were helped at the Winnersh branch by Kelly Head. She treated us in a very professional and sensitive manner, and my sister and I were very happy with the service we received when arranging the service for our mum. Unfortunately she was not available on the day, but the lady who attended was equally as professional and helpful.

Nikki offered us some great support during this difficult time. We chose Miles for our father's funeral because they had done a good job with our mother's, two years ago. happy to recommend.

Dad Passed away recently and we decided to use Richard Lloyd based on a their impressive service some 10 years earlier. So glad we did.
From start to finish the team and especially Donna, as well as the outstanding Celebrant Alison, were extremely professional, courteous and supportive, organising every aspect of Dad’s funeral to our exact wishes.

I used Miles & Daughters to arrange the funeral for my mum 16yrs ago. In May 2026 when my stepfather passed away I had no hesitation in contacting them to help us. They are so professional but also friendly and kind - nothing seemed too much trouble and they answered my emails with never ending questions promptly and without making me feel like a nuisance. I would have no hesitation in recommending them - everything was seamless from start to finish. They are respectful lovely people.
