Overall, the Miles & Daughters Community Fund has given close to £20,000 to 15 groups since launching in 2023.

Area Development Manager Sarah White said: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to support so many charities and good causes since we launched the Community Fund.
“Times are difficult for these smaller, grass-roots groups which do so much good work in the areas our funeral homes serve. If we have been able to make a difference, however small, to people’s lives then that is a fantastic achievement.
“I’d like to thank everyone who as supported our Community Fund and applied for grants. It has been great to getting to know more about so many local organisations.”
