Community Activities
We’re especially proud of our VE Day window display here at Miles & Daughters, Reading. This display is not just a tribute to the significance of VE Day, but also a personal celebration of family history. Several of the items showcased are colleagues’ family treasures, including original photographs of aunts and uncles from the time, along with other authentic memorabilia dating back to the era.
The pull-up banners featured in the display also support a fantastic Oxford-based charity called Standing with Giants, which raises funds for veterans. Every penny raised goes towards helping those who served, and we are proud to be part of this important cause.
